All too often information for young people is aimed at adults (make that make sense?). In our discussions, we explore, explain and provide practical steps to young people how to navigate the world of work, making money and the importance of being ready to take the next steps….

OUR VISION

Nu FOCUS Education CIC exists to provide young people & their families important support at times when they experience the most dramatic change in their lives.  As highlighted below, we do this through our 3 pillars of engagement.

HONEST

We don’t believe in everybody winning – there will be ‘battles’ / situations that are most certainly being lost!  Our role is to highlight these and provide support where we can or signpost where we cannot.

RELATABLE

Our founding director has been a professional youth worker for over two decades – the principles and ethos of good youth work is used throughout our organisation to engage with young people over the long-term this then permeates into all aspects of our youth provision and staff delivery.

RELEVANT

An essential element of our longevity is the fact that we move with the pulse of the youth.  Not that we pander, but Nu FOCUS has recognised through extensive project evaluation that children transitioning from childhood yearn for socio-economic mobility – hence our youth enterprise strand.
