More than just Financial Literacy – Our Starz Youth Enterprise course turns young people into the CEO’s of tomorrow.
Your child doesn’t just “complete a course” — they can work towards accreditation that recognises the skills they’ve built through enterprise and financial literacy.
Starz Academy blends practical challenges, mentoring support, and evidence-building — so young people can gain certificates aligned with pathways such as AQA Unit Awards, ASDAN, NCFE, STEM-linked themes and more (where suitable).

It means your child can collect meaningful evidence as they work through Starz Academy — and that evidence can be used toward a recognised certificate pathway, where appropriate.
We build accreditation into the learning experience. Your child isn’t filling out endless worksheets — they’re completing real-world challenges (planning a product, setting prices, testing ideas, tracking money, reflecting on outcomes) and collecting evidence naturally.
Accreditation options vary based on age, goals, and the pathway that best fits your child. We keep it clear and parent-friendly — and we’ll recommend the right route rather than over-complicating it.
A simple 4-step process that fits around your child’s learning style.
We align accreditation to your child’s age, goals and the work they’re already doing in the course.
Entrepreneurial tasks build real outcomes: ideas, pricing, budgeting, marketing, customer practice and reflection.
We structure evidence in a simple portfolio format so nothing is confusing or left until last minute.
Where appropriate, evidence can be used to support recognised certification outcomes linked to enterprise and skills development.
If your child needs support staying consistent, organising evidence, or turning ideas into action — mentoring provides accountability and clarity.
Depending on the learner’s age and goals, the programme can align to suitable routes such as AQA Unit Awards, ASDAN-style skills development, NCFE-linked skill outcomes, and STEM-connected themes.
Evidence-based achievements aligned to specific skills and outcomes your child builds through projects.
Practical, real-life skill building: communication, teamwork, resilience, and reflective learning.
Recognised skill outcomes supporting wider employability, enterprise, and personal growth pathways.
STEM-linked projects and thinking skills: problem solving, testing, iteration, and design thinking.
Mentoring can support course progress, portfolio evidence, and accountability — all linked to Starz Academy’s skills-based learning.
Straight answers for parents.
Accreditation is linked to your child’s progress and the pathway that fits best. Some families choose to focus on skills first, others want certification as a clear outcome.
We support ages 7–17, but the pathway depends on maturity, confidence, and goals. We’ll recommend the best fit rather than force a one-size approach.
No — mentoring is optional. It’s helpful for learners who benefit from accountability, clearer planning, or support building strong portfolio evidence.
Examples include business idea sheets, pricing plans, budgeting exercises, mini marketing outputs, reflections, customer feedback, and project summaries — structured in a simple portfolio.
Start by exploring mentoring and the course. We’ll guide you toward the most suitable route based on age, pace, and the outcomes you want.
Starz Academy is youth enterprise + financial literacy with real outcomes. Add mentoring if your child needs extra support to stay consistent and confident.
